Ever since the day I had my first go in a "stick", I've been hooked on driving. Since then I've dedicated plenty of my life in the pursuit of ever faster, more expensive cars. I've owned a total of 8 cars in my life, each one an improvement on the last (usually). The four cars that I enjoyed the most are the four above, clicking on them will reveal more details on each. (warning, these pages have pictures!)
From an early age I was sent speeding tickets from GATSO radar cameras in England, thus reflecting poorly on my driving record there. Thankfully, these abominations haven't made their way into Washington yet, so fingers crossed they never will...
That's not to say driving in America is more fun than England, quite the opposite. Unless you really try to find the good roads, driving in the US is very boring. All the roads are straight and incredibly wide, very few twists or turns. One phenomenon I'm yet to come to terms with is Washington's residents' insistance on driving at 15-20mph below the speed limit at all times! That by itself is bad, but when those pottering along at that speed are invariably doing so in the "fast lane", I accuse Washington drivers of being the worst I've ever seen.
